I haven't watched everything yet but im very happy you and Freya came to the Lake District , I live on the West coast . Lake Windermere is a really wonderful place to chill . The fighter planes practice through the mountains, Great Terrain with all the mountains. Hope you enjoyed it , not alot to do but to relax .

Lovely to see you both visiting The Lake District. I'm born and bred from here : ) It was also nice to see so many places I recognise like Ambleside, The Swan hotel and Lakes Aquarium which is only like 30 mins drive from where I live. Hope to see you back again at some point. Also don't worry about the fighter jets, they like to practice around here a lot due to the terrain.

For any future trips, there’s a great walk that takes you around cathedral caves from Elterwater- just past Ambleside. There’s no better way to spend your day in the lakes than going for a hike

I love the lake district ❤ and many other cities in the north of england ❤ plus the people up there are always a delight. Im venezuelan and i dont eve live in england, but i visit very often and love it so much. England is definitely underrated for travelling. London takes all the attention and its definitely not everyones cup of tea, even. But no one talks about the northern towns and how beautiful they are

I live 1 hour away from the Lake District and we go quite often; we went last month to climb Scafell Pike, the tallest peak in England - yes there were fighter jets flying overhead very low and supersonic, was a magnificent sight to behold! It is because there is an RAF airbase there (RAF Spadeadam) where they do frequent training exercises

As someone from this part of The Lakes, it is MAD to see you visiting my home town… and one of my old work places. 🤯 as for the jets/planes - the lakes allow opportunity for low level flying, and the surrounding mountains create a challenging terrain to navigate, all for RAF training. 😊

Was at the same place at easter, train line is straight to the rail/motor museum and the big lake is the southern tip of windermere. The mother in law lives 40 mins away so we visit two or three times a year. It's a genuinely beautiful part of the country
