@@DillenBrodie He didn’t exploit the country. The country is not safe to visit right now. If you watched the series you would understand that Haiti needs change. Yes I would love to see more beautiful places shown in the media of Haiti. But we can’t show those places because of the many problems that are going on right now. Im telling you, as a human race, we have to start valuing each other’s stories and presence here on this earth, despite race, nationality, language. We all are apart of something bigger. He got so attached to Haiti and I understand. He saw that the situation became worst and wanted to come back to Canada, he feared for his live and my mom did her best to help but it was too late...bandits took his life by shooting him in the head while he was out wanting to go at a friend's party....it was 8 months ago and the bandits are still free....I really hope that the country gets free of all of this one day...Pray for Haiti and R.I.P Papi

This really brought tears to my eyes. The world thanks both of you, Nick and Sean, for the hard efforts into making this eye-opening series. The resilience of the Haitian people is strong beyond words. God bless the young brother Richard and Killer Mike. Killer Mike has a powerful voice, and I hope this platform will give him more exposure, and people can hear his music, whether it’d be here on KZbin or wherever. Haiti is a very polarizing country: one where you’ll find desperate situations and extreme poverty, but simultaneously find the most humble, down-to-earth people on this planet. And in the midst of chaos, you’ll always see them with a smile on their faces. Safe travels, Nick. May God always be by your side. God bless Sean. God bless the beautiful people and nation of Ayiti 🇭🇹

As a nurse for 20 years, I’ve wanted to go on a medical mission to Haiti for many years now. My adult daughters have begged and subsequently made me promise to not go because they’re afraid that I’ll fall victim to criminal behavior and not return home. The possibility that that’ll happen is great and at the end of the day, I owe my children to be around for them. The sad part is, that there are many people who live justly in Haiti and need and want our help, but for every good person, there’s 100 more that are corrupt; whether their corruptness stems from hatred or necessity is irrelevant if we, as people, aren’t given the opportunity to safely come and be of service. It’s a genuinely sad situation.

Port au prince is one city in Haiti and does not represent all of Haiti. When I go to my home in the country I feel at peace surrounded by simple living, beautiful people, serene nature, fresh running water, delicious food, ect. I'm not trying to say the country is not in a bad place poltically right now but it's not everywhere you go in Haiti that your adrelanine will be pumping like this. And yes I just recently spent 2 weeks at my house in Haiti this September. One day I definitely want to vlog and show people what I see when I go to Haiti.

Most people don’t understand how bad Haiti is. In 2008 my boss and friend at the time Hank Asher offered his good friend Rev Jessie Jackson $1,000,000 towards food and supplies to go to Haiti and bring trucks with food to areas where people were starving. Children were starving to death. He put me head of the project to try to coordinate it. I was blown away we couldn’t find anybody willing to drive the trucks because they said that no matter what we paid them they would be killed and their heads would be cut off. There are people that are such pos that they will allow children to starve to death. I couldn’t believe it. We even tried to speak to a gang leader for safe passage in one rural area. , and he said the people need to starve so they become obedient. Join the gang or die, and if you’re a child you die for your parents mistakes. I thought I was speaking to the devil.

why is Haiti like this- a hell on earth? Did you know that at its founding Haiti was DEDICATED TO SATAN. On the other extreme, at its founding, SWITZERLAND the wealthiest country on earth, WAS DEDICATED TO JESUS CHRIST as it flag shows. You will REAP WHAT YOU SOW. HAITI IS THE WORLD CENTER OF SATANISM, SHAMANISM & CANNIBALISM- 100's of billions were FLUSHED AWAY THERE AFTER THE 2010 earthquake- NOT EVEN 1000 TRILLION DOLLARS WILL CHANGE HAITI (or Africa) until the spiritual base of the country is changed

Holy shit Sean is incredible. Such an informed perspective on the situation and you can tell he truly cares about and loves Haiti and the People of Haiti. He's so well spoken and genuine its inspiring. Man, if it wasn't a deathwish I'd say he could be a top contender for a leader in politics. Very sad that there are people that special but they're suppressed by corruption, greed, violence, etc... Much respect to this channel for bringing the situation to the mainstream. Well done

I've seen that one guy on several channels. He's often a driver for ppl that do this kind of thing. He seems like such a nice guy, he handles himself well while under pressure.

For those of us in countries with clean water, water-tight homes, running vehicles, and abundant food, be grateful. After watching this series on Haiti, I am so thankful to live where I live and have what I have. The saying, "Never sweat the small stuff and BTW, it's mostly all small stuff." never rang so true....

Compared to this our homeless have it pretty effing good. They're not at daily risk of being shot dead.

@@alrightyru no it's like this more or less for the homeless hence why it's a national crisis. "For those of us in countries w clean water" remember at whose expense we get to enjoy these pleasures. Remember who has to be forced into labor to keep producing so we can enjoy the bullshit we have. 🤣🤣🤣 I'm thankful my country helped opened my eyes before a nuclear blast did

How does you being grateful for your life help these people who are in need? Will you donate even $10.00 to help them? I bet you won't. You prefer to brag online about how great *you* feel.

@@lisabrightly how does dropping your comment help ? Would you even donate 50$? You’re just commenting on other people commenting on your high horse.

Thank you for showing us the reality in Haiti these past few weeks. it has been enlightening. Here in Guyana we also have had a rush of Haitians come in and your videos (not what the media puts out) have helped me to truly understand what they are going through. Much love, stay safe!!

Sean's last message was the point and so powerful. He highlighted where Haiti 🇭🇹 came from and what this nation released itself from. Yes, it may be the reason others feel threatened to help. But the people of the country are their own poison. Sean said it well... ! The rap touch my soul he knows what he is talking about. Thank you, indigo travel, for showing the hurts and the struggle this country is going through. I am thankful you were able to come home safely. We, the Haitians, got to do better, but we can’t do it alone
