It's not your fault for not staying on the Barbie. Those boys were way out of line. Throwing rocks at the golf cart could really damage a very expensive, very special gift. I am only 12 and I am appalled. I think that time with the boys did not count because if they had actually lost the keys ,they would have got in big trouble. I think the parents need to talk to those boys and educate them on values with all due respect. And taking into consideration their age.. Joking around is okay but they need to learn when they are taking it too far. From what I understand as well, that golf cart isn't cheap and even if it was, the moral is to respect other peoples property. Im sure they were doing it to be annoying and "funny" and were probably flirting but respect other people's property. I was always taught that. I think its down to the parents to educate their children on this as well. I was once that age doing silly things so I understand, once I threw at stone at someone's bin and it hit their window. My mom and dad told me off so bad for that and I never did it again. Even though I was being young and care free, that doesn't validate the action. Anyway im sure someone will talk to those lads. 🤦‍♀️

I'm 26 and this made me uncomfortable to watch. But sadly took me back to when we were kids and the exact same behaviour happened and everyone laughed about it because 'boys will be boys'. That is NOT an excuse. and should not still be tolerated. Boys, teenagers, whatever you label them they should be able to see that what they were doing was making you uncomfortable and stop straight away. Respect for other peoples property too!! Everyone is talking about the boys and i have to agree..harmless banter/teasing etc is 1 thing. Physically taking phones, pillows,camera,keys,water bottles..THEN losing keys/breaking key chains/possibly damaging the cart AND then making jokes about finding the keys is ALOT and its not cool, funny or cute at all!! I get they were trying to have fun and that’s ok but after they’ve been asked to stop multiple times and they continued to cross boundary after boundary it was just too much. It’s destruction of property. When I saw what those boys were doing to you and ornella it made me so so angry. I can’t believe this sort of thing is made to be acceptable it’s ridiculous. In the wise words of a song “if boys will be boys then where are the wise men”, you don’t just have to accept them doing stuff like that just because they’re teenage boys.
