You are making me miss scrapbooking. I need to start again but I haven’t for so many years that I am kind of intimidated. I also used to be a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for 12 years. Sometimes I really miss that era of my life.

Awww! You can still use the products and it will feel like home. 😊 Or come on back to the family! 😍 I totally get the intimidation. It really can be very overwhelming if you think about how many photos you have to scrapbook. What I recommend to people is to start current or start with favorites and go from there. Believe me, I am SOOOO far behind. I work all out of order because I just take it one layout at a time and have fun with it. Sure, it’s about documenting, but it’s also about enjoying what you’re working on…the art of it. So you are doing double duty and if you don’t document it ALL…that’s ok!! Baby steps and enjoy the journey! 💗 Good luck!!

That is a very lovely paper pack & using the strip of sangria really set of the colours as a divider. Using burgundy shades with pink is always a wonderful mix if used in tiny amounts. It turned out to be a beautiful double page spread. I thought of using the top 6 x 4 photo as a good place to hide journaling behind if you had a lot of memories to document on the trip. I also thought that maybe some of our card stock like lagoon for example could be used by turning it into a wood style pattern by drawing lines on it with a bone folder, then sanding it lightly & finishing it off by running their green colour over to give it that finished wood patina look. 😃

Nice colour combo in this layout. Love how you put it all together and the black matting looked great So pleased to hear that SU are going to bring in flip flaps at some point. I really only started using them a lot over the past 6 months doing so many baby granddaughter double page layouts. 😊 Luckily I stocked up on a few packs. Until Stampin Up starts carrying the flip flaps you can always purchase Peek-a-boo pockets from Creative Memories. They come 6x12, 5x7, 4x6 and 4x4.

Thanks! I personally stocked up on flip flaps but that’s great info for others! CM doesn’t have the adhesive on their flaps though, just so others are aware.
