Towing the Alto with a Tesla is perfect. But, their labor-intensive, complicated fabrication is just the opposite of the highly automated assembly methods used by Tesla, which is why the Safari Condos are so expensive. Too bad.

The only thing I'd pull with my Volt is a Little Guy My Pod, of equivalent. I installed the hitch myself, very meticulously, and it took about 3 hours. But I know it was done right. Did the electrical the next day. Seems strong as hell, but only rated at 1,000lbs towing and 100 for hitch weight.

I was under the evidently mistaken impression that electric vehicles could not tow very much. May I ask what the tow rating of your car is?

I am quite familiar with trailer, a good Quebec product. But how did you manage across Canada with charging as there are no superchargers in the prairies?
