What an ignorant comment, you should do some research maybe then you will see that people are getting shot in every damn city in America cities like Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Tampa Bay, Miami, Memphis, and Nashville have plenty of gun violence and crime and are never on the national media but just because it's not on the national media does not mean it's not happening. The problem is the sheep of America don't know that Chicago is the most segregated city in America and even if you take into account the ridiculous amount of violence and crime of the entire Southside of the city Chicago is still not even ranked in the top 40 in violent crime that would also explain why in just the past two years Chicago has had almost 100 million tourists and business professionals visit the city and not a single one of them was shot! last time I checked responsible parents and adults don't take their families on vacation to dangerous cities. The only reason Chicago is on the news is to get rid of that clown Brandon Johnson it's called politics but some people are not intelligent enough to figure this out. The fact is that half of the city and 99% of Chicago Police Officers voted for Paul Vallas a Republican-backed candidate for mayor his campaign was funded by the Republican Billionaire Ken Griffin as seen on Fox News. The problem is cable news manipulates people into believing things that are absolutely false a perfect example of this is Nashville Fox News has always portrayed it as a Utopia run by Republicans when in fact it's run by Democrats and has plenty of crime and gang violence they arrested a man in Nashville 105 times and gave him bail every time until last week when he raped a woman but you did not see that on Fox News did you? The best part is that Republicans like the Billionaire Ken Griffin and Fox poster boy Colin Cowherd of Fox Sports just purchased properties in Chicago the irony is palpable. The main reason is probably that the black population in Chicago to this very day has been declining for decades the top states that have had the biggest increase in black population are Florida and Texas those states are under invasion by all the lazy Liberals of America all looking for cheap rent and no state income tax and they will always vote Blue! This is why I tell people opinions are not facts do your research and stop believing cable news propaganda I am a proud Republican but I'm not a sheep. I am actually even more Situationally Aware in Chicago, than having served 22+ yrs...including several combat deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria, where we had to be situationally aware 24/7/365

There is another video that unmistakably shows what appears to be the getaway vehicle, in my opinion. The car suspiciously entered the frame mere seconds after the shooting and was observed lurking through various alleys. It's evident that the vehicle isn't owned by a resident of the neighborhood. The fact that the driver didn't emerge to assist the victim isn't surprising. I'm confident that this is indeed the getaway vehicle! Locating the car could lead to identifying the driver and ultimately apprehending the shooter! Why are the police complaining about "overtime" pay when they seem unable to piece together this crucial evidence? Furthermore, it's frustrating that the media is reluctant to acknowledge the obvious, likely out of fear of offending cultural sensitivities. The alderman's response is disappointing as well; he expresses anger but fails to provide any substantive or valuable input.
