Wheepup is going to be okay. Hwasa, Solar and Byul had to have been worried during the performance, but kept going. Pro performers. They don’t like to cover, but they did what they had to. Hwasa and Solar having wardrobe issues. The backing track is stupid loud… Mamamoo does not need that much backing. Mamamoo is best when OT4.

Despite the strong and obvious backtrack they managed to sing and sound thes same as the backtrack, i mean it seems full lipsync. The vocals really 🔥. Best of health to my bias Wheein.

I noticed that the backtrack sounded quieter when Wheein was performing during Starry Night but I think they made the track louder due to missing Wheein’s vocals? Since other times when Wheein was not with them in other live concerts they would have backtracks prepared to keep her parts but quiet/remove the other three members’ parts. Ofc I can’t be sure this is the reasoning for the loud backtrack here, so it’s just my speculation :)

@@emiixie their performance in Hip here where during the performance, that Wheein felt the pain of the firework dust, she still sings her first parts with still loud backtracks until she's gone backstage, then no one sings her part just the loud backtrack, i feel like that night the backtrack is just loud maybe for some reasons - sometimes when there is less preparation. (There's no way they change the song from a quiter backtrack to a louder for Wheein immediately during the performance + Wheein doesn't sing it in backstage as i believe they really rushed her to the hospital) You'll also notice when hwasa sings her bridge part on Hip too, she sings it differently and it sounded like a duet, but that's her live vocals and the loud backtrack But yeah, since then they're preparing a song with Wheein vocals. That night all songs have strong backtracks😊

I knew the backtrack was loud which featured all four of their voices (and based on Solar’s expressions + adlibs it’s clear that it was so much louder than it should’ve been). What I had meant by the track was that I realize they couldn’t have changed the WHOLE track for missing wheein since that would be impossible in the middle of a performance lol but what I had meant by it was that they upped the whole backtrack (since it included all of their vocals) much more because of lacking Wheein afterwards to help adjust since I noticed that mamamoo usually doesn’t cover the other members parts except, as you mentioned, hearing Hwasa’s duet with Wheein and then the additional duets to harmonize with the tracks :) But! So glad to see Wheein has recovered for the most part based on today’s recent concert where she performed!! Can’t wait for their upcoming comeback ! And thank you for the reply and clarification too!

Though it is just an unfortunate accident for Wheein, I can't help but feel that it's somehow a foreshadowing of Mamamoo soon continuing with just Solar, Byul, and Hwasa 😟 It may be a sort of easing into the inevitable, but I still want to see OT4 just a bit more longer before Wheein totally parts ways with RBW. Keep your bonds strong after this and into the future, ladies. Fighting!
