This is very good information! But on the test you just do not have the time to go through all of these steps. That was my problem AND I would practice and practice then when I took the test its confusing and NOTHING like I studied.

In the first problem should'nt it be stated that the thickness of the pipe is 1.5 inches ? . This way when you solve we can say the thickness on one side of the pipe is 1.5 and then on the other side is 1.5 inches thus the total amount of thickness for the pipe is 3 inches. The way the problem is written with 3 inches for the width of the pipe one can easily misinterpret that the total thickness of the pipe is 6 inches not 3

This exam is an udder joke. If you hold a bachelors degree in mathematics and are unable to score at least a 90%, you don't deserve your degree. The curriculum in America is way too relaxed...

Its not designed for math majors. There is a separate test for that. This is for everyone.

People might say the same thing about someone with a Bachelor's degree who can't differentiate between "udder" and "utter". Not everyone's wanting to be a math teacher, sport. This is just a fundamental benchmark.

Well I know I’m not a genius. That’s why I want to teach 2nd grade. I shouldn’t have to take this test to teach multiplication, addition, and subtraction…
