Stacey, I too am on a fixed income, but even more I like supporting a “personally” owned store. We have no local scrapbook stores. While I don’t shun the box stores, I prefer to support you. I am in Maryland so you definitely are not local, but the power of the internet allows me to feel local. Best of luck with going home. So sorry for your stress.

Very cool dies! I have the precision base plate with the coating on it. I'm so glad you said I really don't have to buy the new version - mine works just fine! Thanks for your honesty Stacey! For those of you who don't have a precision base plate though, it's definitely worth purchasing to use with the intricate dies - it makes a BIG difference!

I love the dies, I keep saying I'm not gonna buy but yes I buy. I have the big red machine from way back, the big kick, the side kick and the big shot plus. I love Sizzix, I had the Cricket several years ago and sold it, I'm not very computer savvy, I love my Sizzix it's top. I did use my precision base plate on my magnetic plate and did pop the magnets, so I bought another magnetic plate and won't do it again lol. Thank you for caring so much for your customers.

Boy you had me laughing so hard with old red. I had the first one & oh my gosh ! I'm a vey small now old lady then I was pretty strong full of hump., still very short. Anyways I couldn't get it to cut I even stood on the lever & would get some to cut. My daughter said oh I'll do it well she also had to stand on it. I finally gave to the Vietnam veterans thrift store. I still kept some of the dies . Am I ever so happy with the crank ones . Thank you for bringing my memories of how we started & the laughter . You truly made my heart happy ❤️

I am so sorry you and your family are still not any more settled with your insurance agency. I know from our family's own small disasters that insurance companies are definitely not looking out for you. I wish you have a better outcome than we had. A pipe burst in our master bedroom but we were not at home when it happened. By the time we found it the water had traveled throughout the main floor and basement and we had plenty of loss. That was two years ago and we are still waiting to get this fixed. Stacey, stay strong and be glad your family is still together. I believe God will never give us more than we can handle. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter and I look forward to many more Saturdays with you!
