Performative infantilism gone awry. Please return to the simpler, mostly prop-free era of fansigns, when idols didn't have to engage in as much infantilist behavior that was beneath them. (I blame Twice--or rather, JYP--for popularizing this trend among girl groups.) It is sad & pathetic to see young adult women be encouraged by their companies / fans to behave as narcissistic 12 year olds. 😭
