THIS PSALM IS MEANT FOR:
19th Sunday of Ordinary Times - Cycle B. “Taste and see that the Lord is good” - Ps 34. USCCB allowed us to use lyrics from their ‘Revised Grail Psalms that is in our Lectionary 2020-CCBI, Music by Michael Peria and Musical Settings approved by - CCBI. This is a part of the Musical Scorebook, “Chanting the Responsorial Psalms-B71” (Psalmi Responsorii in Cantu B71) that will soon be published. This Responsorial Psalm is chanted and sung by the HAC and presented by the Hyderabad Archdiocesan Choir.
WHY THIS VIDEO:
This video posting aims at learning and chanting during our Liturgical Celebrations. Towards the end of this video, each part of the polyphonic is presented separately. Make use of Social Media to learn. We believe this will be a great help to the choir to learn and sing the chorus in polyphonic because “Singing in POLYPHONIC is really Catholic”- Pope Benedict.

This Responsorial Psalm is sung by the Hyderabad Archdiocesan Choir - HAC; Cantor - Anneliese and Audio & video production is done by Clement and Benjamin at Hyderabad, India. Most of our psalm videos are produced online with singers from across various locations globally with guidance on how to record their parts that need to be sent to the production team.

Taste and see that the Lord is good.
I will bless the LORD at all times;
Praise of him is always in my mouth.
In the LORD my soul shall make its boast;
the humble shall hear and be glad.
Glorify the LORD with me;
together let us praise his name.
I sought the LORD, and he answered me;
from all my terrors he set me free.
Look towards him and be radiant;
let your faces not be abashed.
This lowly one called; the LORD heard,
and rescued him from all his distress.
The angel of the LORD is encamped
around those who fear him, to rescue them.
Taste and see that the LORD is good.
Blessed the man who seeks refuge in him.
