I think this is the peak of what this genre can be. I love levels that explore how far you can take the concept of decoration, and this brings it so far while still maintaining an insane level of polish. This is an incredible level. I feel like its got a perfect level of decoration. Often i see layouts that look really good, but once decorated, the deco doesn't compliment the layout and seems to just be there despite it. This level is great cause it doesn't fall victim to this issue. Also, its nice to see a fellow Camellia appreciator.

When I clicked this level I was not expecting to see what I saw. Watching that showcase was an absolute treat and experience. I know it’s very unlikely for robtop to rate it for having a layout style, but if there’s one layout style level that needs to be rated it’s absolutely this one. This level is nothing short of perfection in its effects. I really was not expecting an experience like this watching a level called Cicada. (I also didn’t know it would use a camelia song so that helps explain a lot)

I’m not typically a fan of levels that use a lot of layout blocks, but this one just does a phenomenal job of executing effects and design so well that the focus is completely taken off of the layout blocks and put straight onto the amazing flow and effects that the level has to offer!

that part is amazing, but It's the corrupted drop after it that does that to me. taking something we've seen many times already in the level and just turning it on its head like that was an amazing way to go about it. especially with the great buildup to it (which includes the awesome cube you're talking about) this is why i really like repetition in GD levels tbh. it gives moments like this so much more impact

Honestly, this is one of the best 2.1 levels I've seen. The sync and gameplay is immaculate, and to keep all of this up for a SEVEN minute level is actually insane. Fair play, because there wont be a level with better synchronization than this for a long time.

It's beautiful! I love the atmosphere of it! I don't know what to tell you, apart from congrats! The effects are awesome, the gameplay looks fantastic, and the whole level feels like one entity, but with a lot of different parts in it, different identities... And you perfectly matched the music in my opinion, so great job for that! Idk, I just find this level so unique, and I love it! I hope people won't call it an "effect layout" cuz it's not, it's really a level that uses the 1.0 blocks to create an atmosphere... Thank you Darwin for creating such a masterpiece!

I haven't been this hyped for a level in months or even years, there are so many things i love about this like how the deco is minimalistic, yet it's effective and is quite the eye candy to look at without being overstimulating, headache inducing or heavily obscuring the gameplay and i really like how dynamic it is and the varying intensity depending on what's happening in the song! Now, it's a bit tough to talk about gameplay since i haven't played it yet but i still wanna commend you on multiple things. First thing is that if someone really wanted to split parts into different sections they absolutely could because for example, the drop duals are very clearly its own thing, it makes that its focus, and doesn't try too hard to be all over the place or "over-dynamic" if that makes sense which i feel is a trap that a lot of other creators fall into (including me admittedly) and i think because of that each part is quite memorable. The gameplay sync is great as well without going overboard and sacrificing anything else which is amazing ("Perfect sync" or levels that makes sync its gameplay focus are usually not one of my favorites for this reason) To close this off i think that because of everything i've pointed out it is very clear to me that you've been doing this for a long time and it shows. Can't wait to see more and what you can do with 2.2, cheers!

Yooo this is an absolute banger. Ik you could make much block design per say, but I really like how the simpleness flows with the epic effects. you're one of the few creators that doesn't upload levels much, but when you do, it's well worth the wait. Absolutely deserves epic, from what I've heard, probably insane demon. If it does get Insane Demon, it'll be one of the, if not the, best insane demon ever imo, I just really love this and how it keeps its quality throughout the 7 minutes. What a way to end off 2.1, and one can only dream of the things you'll do in 2.2!
