I totally do not understand the concept of staying as long as the CEO. Here in Germany, afaik, it's that the boss stays longest, cz most responsibilities, highest salary, like that. To expect from a normal worker to do the same hours as someone getting paid much much MUCH more is really mindblowing to me. The audacity actually !!

Lmao German 19y/o here. When I was 17 and starting to work in office the boss always left earlier and was maybe only 3 hours there (tax office). She had a daughter who worked there aswell as a normal tax clerk and still even tho she had her to fulfill normal working hours as the rest of us she always left earlier aswell and the boss/mother never said shit.

I really enjoyed this, and hope to see a lot more! Interesting to see that it's a share office (like a WeWork space). I can totally sympathize with after-lunch food coma too! I have it all the time. If I'm working from home, I just take a nap on my bed. In the office, I usually have a hoodie, and just pull the up and nap at my desk.

Be careful Jina. Although your company may appear to be flexible, you still need to go through a period of proving yourself. Nobody likes to see a new employee leave early, or taking advantage of this flexibility... You're better off showing initiative, drive and yes even staying late for a while. And especially don't act entitled! - It doesn't matter how flexible the company is, nobody likes to see a new employee taking advantage too early.
