In reply to your question about bridges in Louisiana, there are at least two that are either longer than the one that you normally transit. One runs from New Orleans across Lake Pontchartrain to the North Shore. The other if you continue on interstate 10 from Baton Rouge, take interstate 55 north which is very similar to the whiskey Bay bridge on I 10. It’s not quite as long, but it’s different in view. Another long bridge is between Houma Louisiana and Morgan city Louisiana on Highway 90. So if you’re Wisconsin to New Jersey route doesn’t work and you end up running this route again Tri 55 north off of I 10 about the same distance as you normally travel across 12 and up 55.
