I took this Ring out of my 01 and I'm NOT SURE IF ITS LOUDER OR NOT...I don't think it's worth the Trouble of taking it out and I might put it back in...

The silencer ring is or was in the inlet of the turbo on the compressor side. So why would you show a video of the exhaust? There's not going to a difference on that side of it

And what proof do you have that it was a cold start? Yes, this mistake does happen quite a bit on these types of videos, but there is always that one person that has to announce to the world how dumb it is to be revving it, without knowing whether or not the uploader had the engine warmed already. There's just no need for this, considering the video is 3 years old as of a few hours ago.
