Next one in work is a how-to for lowering the C8 front and rear using the z51 suspension and lowering collar (for those with the front lift option that need it). Hoping to drop that sometime late next week!

I definitely agree it pulls slightly harder for me. I think the best part of it is the filter gives you a more crisp throttle response. Something you could feel comming out of corners and such. Thanks for the comment! 😎👍

I did this filter and exhaust, I noticed a night and day difference on the throttle. The car seems more unrestricted to me.

There is a noticeable difference for sure when you combine both the aftermarket exhaust and filter. How I best described it is a more crisp throttle feel that was more lively and responsive. Hope you enjoyed the video!

Great video, how long would you say it takes to take the filter out and replace? I bought one but haven’t installed it yet, a bit intimidated by it.

Hey Darren! So Id say its about an hour to hour and 30 min job from start to finish if your doing a swap from the OEM to this one and have never done it before. I can definitely understand being intimidated since it involves a few extra steps to get access compared to traditional cars. That being said this is a great one for a Do It Yourself. Super easy! The video breaks it down for all the tools youll need and step by step on how to do it. If you have any questions on the way, feel free to ask and we can help!

I just took possession of my new 2023 C8 2Lt HTC; I noticed that you have the Lamb doors, Was thinking about doing the same to mines, have you encountered any problems since having them installed? Also I'm in Fort Worth.

Hey congrats on the C8! Your going to love driving it for sure! And I have had some challenges with my lambo doors and its a video in the process on breaking down my experience and how to find a good installer. The parts themselves are solid, it comes down to finding a good installer. Itll take me a few weeks to put together that how-to video so if you need a suggestion on where to go before then, let me know. I can recommend you certain places in DFW specifically

I got lambo doors on my 2020 C8 from & installed by EIKON. Would not recommend. They never insulated door wires & I pointed it out after install. They said doors will be fine. Fast forward 2 years later wires were rotted along with the circuit board for all power windows, locks, etc...had to be replaced plus the pistons to lift door were not strong & opening door is heavy, actually too heavy for my girlfriend. Just FYI. Mind you they do look awesome. Try another brand maybe & keep in mind I had one of the first C8's so everything was new & I think EIKON was the first to have the hinge kits for the doors. They may have improved doors installation, hopefully provide wire insulation & upgraded pistons since I got my mine installed. Good luck!!!

So unlike a K&N, after you clean it, it doesn’t get RE-oiled? I typically use K&N in all my vehicles.

Hey David. Correct! The Attack Blue does not require to be re-oiled. The nano material does not need it because of how its manufactured and used. Ive confirmed this directly with the manufacturer and engineers.

@@NuHorizonC8 so advantage less likely to mess up your MAF sensor, but then doesn’t last quit as long. Think I may have to give this one a try when the stock needs replacing.

Yeah its a really really easy clean and install that doesnt have the extra issues you could face with oiled filters if your not thinking doing a full on cold air intake. Definitely would recommend them. 👍

On dash there is option said : air filter life .. for my car said %50… Is this same as the one shows in dash ? Or that’s totally different air filter ?

Good vid....I'm gonna order one of these. Seems like a good buy and everyone says they're great. I'd also say.....for 130 bucks....I'd probably just replace it every 25k miles rather than try and clean it. Even after soaking it looks pretty nasty still.

I never bought one of these filters. Horsepower obsessed reviewed it quite a while ago and I thought the increase in HP or acceleration wasn't noticeable for the price. Do you disagree?

I would say by itself, the gains, with respect purely to HP are marginal and barely felt. The biggest difference I find as a good factor is throttle feel though. The throttle feels more responsive and sharp when your going through corners and rolling on the gas. So in trackday situations, thats probably where youll feel the biggest difference. In normal driving conditions or just pure acceleration, your not going to notice things as much.

I put one on my 2021 non-Z51 and 0-60 times went from 3.5 to 3.1 under exact same conditions. AC on and a slight uphill grade. For me, it was a worth while purchase.

How'd you do that video? One of them drones? Changing your air filter = "working on your car?" Not in my world. If changing an air filter, which is about as difficult as putting gas in the car, equals the street cred of working on one's car, then that person deserves zero street cred points.
