Being American and seeing how truck driving in Europe is so different, yet so cool. I had a fun time watching and you have gained a new subscriber 🎉Greetings from North Carolina in the United States.

Thank you! It’s totally different yeah. I watch a bit of Bruce Wilson and he makes some good side by side videos of an American truck next to a new Scania. Very interesting! Have a good rest of your day👋

Hello Samyboy. Watching you connect those trailers and drive something that long is amazing to watch. There are so many things you need to know about in order to handle such a load. This was a very educational video for those of us who have never handled anything so large on the road. Thanks for a great video. 👍👍👍

Trucking in Europe is so completely different than here in the US.
@norwegiantrucking2 ай бұрын
Yes, i would love to experience trucking in the US at one point!
@YARCHLRL2 ай бұрын
@@norwegiantrucking no you wouldn't lol. It's awful here...
@norwegiantruckingАй бұрын
Yeah I’ve seen a lot about it, you have a lot more owner operators in your market. Here you need to know the right people and after a year there is a 30% chance your business is still up and running
@YARCHLRLАй бұрын
@@norwegiantrucking I'm an owner operator and all of us struggle. We have mega carriers shitting on us daily and they control the freight market here.
@norwegiantruckingАй бұрын
@YARCHLRL oh that sucks! They say the bigger the better, but it’s completely opposite… I hope you find a way to make it work😕

Do you get to drive to the west coast, Bergen and the hardanger fjord area??
@norwegiantruckingАй бұрын
No, unfortunately not. We are semi local and mostly southeast/east. In my current job I drive tankers to/from Oslo-Gothenburg(Sweden)👌

My Father was from oystese, on the hardenger fyord. He moved to England as a young man, I moved to Australia. I have been to Bergen and the west coast several times over the years.

@norwegiantruckingАй бұрын
Thank you m8😁 It’s a 6x4 with max combined weight of 60T

@norwegiantrucking so do you have a clutch between the third and last axle like the volvos? So liftable and powered axle?
@norwegiantruckingАй бұрын
@BavarianTrucking aaaaah, i see what you mean. No, we have drive on 2nd axle only👌 But we have twin/double wheels on both 2nd and 3rd axle. In Norway it is more usual with Tri-dem Axels with drive on the frist two😎 and rear liftable
@izaak15092 ай бұрын
So 25m is b double size(prime mover and two trailers) wish we could do that our rigid’s can only be 19m with trailer.
@norwegiantrucking2 ай бұрын
Check out this article, they have a diagram of the four types of doubles that we have in Norway. The one in the video is type 1 :D Which includes mover (10meters) dolly (Steerable with 5th wheel) and trailer (15meters with kingpin connected to dolly) www.tungt.no/article/view/766628/kan_du_dette_om_2525_meter_modulvogntog#:~:text=I%20Norge%20finnes%20det%20i,skal%20ha%20minst%207%20aksler.&text=P%C3%A5%20modul%20type%201%2C%202,og%20veie%20inntil%2060%20tonn.
