(25/25) XMAS SPECIAL 2023 | RAINBOW SALIENT IS BEING REPLACED AT LAST!

A replacement that was overdue, in a similar fashion to Westfield Chatswood's main lifts; these lifts are receiving the same treatment as them; in this case they started the first lift replacement before Christmas of that year (ie Chatswood's was in 2019); and complete replacement of the other one after Christmas... Despite Kone maintaining the lifts at this Westfield, Schindler is replacing these lifts (Lifts 12 & 13). Lift 12 was the first to be replaced, with Lift 13 to be replaced early next year (2024). To keep the "Rainbow Salient" reference alive, they went for coloured floor tags; using a US95-AB chassis for the buttons; except the new carpark changes that were done prior to this mod. On that note; this marks the last Christmas for the Schindler 300s at Westfield Hornsby, as they convert into Schindler 5000s.
I do hope that the Schindler 300Hs serving carparks P7-P12 are replaced into Schindler 5000s soon!

Finally they are replacing the sailent. Schindler 5000 just only uses generic fixtures instead of Linea 300 that is with the Schindler 5500.

It seemed to needed work but they’ve also done a horrific job at it! It seems incomplete.
