At first I thought. WOW that's a lot of kicks. Than I realized that changing the height or the target you consider another kind of kick, even if the body mechanics are very similar. Out of curiosity: Some Capoeira groups also name like that, but in the group I practiced for a while they just consider the same kick used differently.

every kwan is different...years ago in korea all martial arts were called mu-ye...aikido techniques were added and modified...some kwans came together to form taekwondo...one of the earliest kwans of taekwondo was jidokwan...u will find they also have some hapkido type self defenses...that being said...every kwan has their own kicks...some have linear kicks some circular...some of the names are also different...I have a blackbelt from world hapkido/muye...a black belt from ihf and also a black belt from kidohae/hanminjok hapkido association...I live in korea...although some similarities...there are many differences...these may be kicks from your kwan but there are a lot more kicks in hapkido in general... cool video though...and ignore people who say this is wrong that is wrong...its just a difference in kwan teachings.. peace to you hapkido brother...

Hi..Could u please Suggest some KZbin channels where genuine Hapkido techniques/hapkido is taught..as we hear that there are many fake schools in hapkido..but Hapkido is also considered a very good Overall system of self Defence if we get a Genuine school. I can't go to school..so please suggest some GENUINE online resources. Thanks

@@freespirit7328 I have lived in korea 14 years. Pretty much every dojang is hapkido. Techniques are all similar. The main difference is weapons taught. Khf is judo based. They are really awesome at throws. And they have a long catalogue of joint locks. They dont focus on many weapons teaching. Most of the other hkd federations ive seen seem to focus on everything. A real mix. They have some jui jitsu blended in too. Tons of weapons. And in my opinion. Hanminjok/kooksool won/kido hae (which are connected have the sickest weapons teaching.

@@paborick69 ok , Thanks. But I had asked for some Online KZbin channels who teach genuine HKD...as Fake Ones are also there whose techniques are not functional in real life. And What is Khf?

not really a kicker, myself. I do have a few in the tool box but not a regular "go to" skill. Some of what I see on this video I would see as useful to me and some I don't see as useful to me. Good video regardless of my personal choices however.

Is it possible for you to give all the name all of the kicks so I don’t mix them up?? I’m doing a lot of research on different martial arts and I want to know name of all the different kicks in hapkido.

Nice one ! However I found that some crucial points Dojunim Ji Han Jae taught in France are missing, especially the mandatory hands on the ground for kicks 7, 16, 21 and 24. Also, we learned number 4, 18, 20 and 24 in a slightly different way.
@kloelavonne50456 жыл бұрын
me too! I am taught by Dojinims Top student Sun sa nim John Beluschak and i am so happy to see another fellow hapkidoist share these focus points!

Great kicks! As Hapkiboy mentioned, I learned these kicks with emphasis on placing the hands on the ground for the roundhouse, low rising side kick, side knee strike, and rising blade block.

About 10,000 views of this video is me watching back cos I just can't remember them all. Trying to do all 25 from (my) memory is even worse than that electronic memory game Simon.

Didn’t see either a Heal kick or a spin high; nore any double kicks.
@kloelavonne50456 жыл бұрын
these are the basic kicks. the spin kicks are specialty and the double is a different style of kicking.

It's called a back kick, or spinning back kick, or spinning side kick. It has different names depending on the martial art.
