my mom and I would make sugar cookies and decorate them we are talking making 30 to 40 dozen all for gifts. My grandmother and I would make fudge, turtles , cookies, peppermint bark etc for gifts. I still bake for gifts in my 50's but I also have started a tradition with my kids grandkids of taking a day for making ornaments and such for Christmas gifts .

A tradition I had with my parents was putting up our Christmas tree on Thanksgiving night. We'd have dinner with the whole family, then go home, put on our Bing Crosby Christmas album and spend the evening decorating. Precious memories were always made on those nights. ❤🎄
