Pro tip: dont get a wallet with a dependency on an elastic band. The elasticity will eventually weaken allowing your contents to disperse and not hold. Ive lost a credit card this way.

I am in 100% agreement. Levers, springs, elastics will wear down in time. Stick with the natural quality leathers that look/feel good in hand or the Akeeni XSTO that just works

@@gentwithin yes, there are a few that I really like but my favorite is the HuMn! That blue & carbon fiber, looks great! Blue is my favorite color lol. Does it ever feel like the cards will fall out 1 side at all? Did you get yours from Amazon? Tried to follow the link so you got a little something out of it for your work but can't seem to choose the blue carbon fiber version you show. I actually watched the video over again to make sure I didn't miss something lol.

I've tried so many minimalist wallets, I lost count and gave most away. I hate the feeling of a hard edged/metal wallet regardless of how thin it is. I don't like case wallets that are loose with few cards and get too tight with a few extra. I loved then later hated the wallets that looked like survivalist gear, those with full thickness rawhide, attachments, etc. My journey from fat billfold to carrying nearly nothing brings me to the ultimate question. How can I hold 3 cards, a license and couple folded bills without a wallet that doubles that thickness? At one point I protested the whole premise and went a week with a rubber band around my cards. It was liberating but made me feel homeless. Card holders are nice but unsightly since they expose all your cards like a pair of boxers riding way up past the beltline. Got store credit from Victoria's Secret? It's not so secret now! Nope. I like the clean look of wallet with coverage. After all the years of searching, I've settled on the Bellroy Slim Sleeve as my perfect wallet. It folds to hide my cards and bills, has a very small profile, fits nearly flat in my pocket, is supple and soft, and doesn't break the bank like that LV I wasted money on.

No comparison with the handmade leather. Here most of the skins are from chicken, maybe old buffalo from India or China or from hand tanned in Africa, etc. Buy handmade wallet with genuine top-grain leathers from Japan, Italy France, UK( a few tanneries left) Germany and USA, rest of leather producing countries are not top quality. These are machines made in the 3rd world suite shops.

This is an awful video. 1. There's more time spent showcasing what the wallet looks in your pocket than there is showing the actual wallet and how it works. 2. When you do show the wallet, the video is blurry or you're just slightly off frame so you can't really see anything. 3. The chapter links in the video are slightly off so you don't get to actually see the beginning of each chapter unless you rewind a little bit. There was some interesting looking wallets but we spent far too much time staring at your pants instead of focusing on the product you were showing us.
