Legend of Dragoon story is awesome.. you get so immersed in being a dragoon but you also can't stop feeling sorry for the winglies.. The backstory is just sad.. and fighting the ghosts of the previous dragoon gives you more insight into the Dragoon's emotions and the turmoil each of them faced. Side quests are also fun, like the stardust side quest. Sometimes the annoying thing is having to complete a perfect-timed hit so that the dragoon attack combo all connect.

I clicked on this just to see how Vagrant Story ranked on the list... Surprisingly, im not disappointed at all that it is nowhere to be found, as compared to ranking low on the list. The game is so unique, way ahead of its time in its map design and gameplay mechanics, that it could just not fit into any genre.

Playing through LOD again rn, and I'd have to say I do feel like it was a little low on the list maybe top 10 imo. I have always felt that some of the day to day conversations have a weirdly misogynistic tone to them (especially when Shana is involved), and you can see everything coming from a mile away as well. Combat was fun introducing QTE'S was a super cool move I wish more turnbased games did. But I did hate the item stock being limited considering there isn't a full-time healer unless you keep Shana (worth it)

Please! Help me find a game! I remember the game from childhood, the genre was JRPG, it was in Japanese, little known. I lost the disc (From memory, I remember the following moments in fragments, because I played at 9-10 years old: The game has a top view, real time control 1. Protagonist - a guy, several times the control went for other characters. 2. The game starts in the laboratory, there is a battle with a couple of enemies as I remember. The second location is a ruined modern city. At the end is the boss. 3. I remember a beach, a forest, a desert, space (hard mission on a spaceship), then a shipwreck. 4. Boss fight, 3v1, in the forest. 5. Laboratory, some secret base of scientists. 6. Desperate search for a certain girl, who by the end of the level was injured (in my opinion on the beach) 6. Constant battles with robots, and Protagonist has his own robot. Ship battles in space were also done in the traditional JRPG style, turn-based. 7. Locations were loaded during transitions. 8. The atmosphere of the game is quite depressing and gloomy. It's not Xenogears!

For me: 1. Breath of Fire 3 2. FF8 3. FF7 4. FF9 I replayed Breath of Fire more than 5 times now on android emulator. The trainer system, the fairies, the fishing and fishing merchants, the story, the dragon form system, Rei's weretiger form. The games is just sooo good Plus its so long I don't know how they fit it on one CD

I remember sending my brother to this one rental store that was going out of business to pick up Breath of Fire III. He came home with one of the ps1 Romance of the three kingdoms games. Boring.
