I believe this is my favorite Christmas decor creations that I have ever watched! I just started crafting about 10 years ago, but it was mostly jewelry until the last 5 years since I was able to leave the rat race. This is my type of craft video. I'm constantly looking at the gorgeous and festive fun art on gift bags and trying to come up with ways to use them without revealing they came from a gift bag. I also have stashed away some small cardboard boxes that contained different hot cocoas in an advent calendar I once received. I loved the art so much and couldn't figure out what to do with them but I think I'm going to try gluing them onto wood cookies like you suggested because I'm pretty sure I have spare wood cookies hanging out in the same craft drawer I just hadn't thought of modpodging them on there. ❄️ Great Ideas! I used to wrap gifts in brown paper grocery bags before they went all plastic. I would add a pretty bow and it always looked nice. I love using pretty bags as framed artwork.

❄️Shannon I love these ideas. I’ve also turned Gift Bags into Journals. In the process of turning one into a Disney themed Wedding Planner for a couple of Friends of mine. They adore Zootopia & I found the best pic of Nick Wilde looking Gobsmacked. That’s going on the cover w/"You're getting MARRIED!?!" over top of the pic. Underneath will be a non stop babble of "Is this done…Is that done…Did you talk to this person…etc". 😁 It should give them a good chuckle. Another use for those canvas bags is for the covers for December Daily Journals. Trim off the two ends & one side, then either take Cardstock or a…used cookie box & cut to fit the canvas. Glue &/or sew to the canvas, do the same w/ some pretty paper or material for the inside, sew some folded paper into the spine &…Voila!! A December Daily Journal Just a few more ideas. I’ve done that before but when you talked about the paint pen, it made me wonder if you put dots at the scallop if it would hold and it just would give it that extra littletouch.

I loved how you found so many great ways to use gift bags in some many different ways. what a great way to think outside of the box & you definitely gave me inspiration to try my own techniques, so thanks. I loved them all & couldn't find a favorite; but would suggest that on the X-Mas tree on with the wooden half beads/star that if you used some jute twine for the trunk of the tree it would've probably made it pop out even more. ---Amelia
