What’s the best bank role for this 67 and eight strategy 3 to $500?

I regularly play this with just a $500-$600 but-in. You could possibly do it for less unless you see a lot of point seven rolls. Even if you lose you 4 or 10 lay bets, it’s not as bad as point sevens.

I realize this is a low roller strategy, but your DP is meaningless at the $25 Flat. It doesnt cover even 50% of you 6-8 exposure at the $30 each level. If I play the DP I want to 1st cover all or most of my risk on the board until I press or expand with the box number winnings.

Hi, thanks for watching and commenting. I understand where you’re coming from. The DP, in this case, isn’t intended to be a hedge. Instead, the real goal is to get one hit on the 6 or 8 at $60. Then, immediately regress to $30 each. At that point, your 6, DP, and 8 are all profitable.

With both the lay bet of 4 and 10 you now have increased your potential to lose to 6 ways combined, which is the same as rolling a 7, but your potential loss is now $50. Try hopping the 7's for $5 apiece. Now you only lose on only a 11 for a total of $40 loss vs. a $50 loss. If you hit a point then you only lose $15 which can be won back with your first box hit. If you roll a come out seven, you win $75 .... minus $10 on the 7's that didn't hit and the DP bet of $25. An overall win of $45 on a come out 7. You could even place $3 on the 11 prop bet and not lose at all on a 7 or 11 come out roll.

Thanks for your comment. I will tell you I like your strategy better if you're trying to protect more money on the don't pass, such as a $50 DP. The reason I say that is that there are so many ways to lose your $15, I'm not sure there is much value in protecting a $25 DP and losing $15 hop bet as often as you would. Conversely, if your DP was $50, a $15 "insurance policy" seems to make more sense. I'm not a mathematician and I haven't looked up whether a $50 DP would make more sense for hopping the reds, but I feel "over insured" by being willing to lose $15 thirty different ways to protect a $25 DP. It all seems kind of relative, I'm willing to lose $50 to protect a $25 DP, but there are only 6 ways to lose $50 and 30 ways to lose $15. Again, I think hopping the 7s makes more sense if you were insuring a larger value DP. I may have to make a video on your strategy or a comparison video. Or, a high roller $50 minimum table strategy video. Thanks, again, and Good Luck!

@@BlueDiceCraps I see what your saying and that makes a lot of sense as well. With my style of playing, I have my hops budgeted in per roller. The fact remains, whoever invented this game is a genius because they covered every angle imaginable. lol. Anyways, good luck on your craps journey my friend.

My wife plays the Horny Field with 3 Hop 7's...field hits pay for hardways. Usually bubble craps. She does well with it...somehow Mathematically, 6,7,8 is solid with those comeout Lay's. What's your best or favorite Horn/Feild strategy? W or W/O hedges

I'm probably going to make a video on this, but when I'm playing the pass line, I like to play a horn high ace deuce. I'll only play the field if the 2 or 12 pays triple and the other pays double, I'm on the pass line and the point is 5, and I use my double the table minimum bet on the 6 and 8. Basically, want to win on every number that is rolled (other than Big Red).

@@BlueDiceCraps Because when I dice-set - I ALWAYS do when I shoot - I toss it so that BOTH dice bounce one time before they hit the wall and then land.
