My husband's dad has a history of alcohol abuse and violence. While that man rotted in jail, Steve was the closest thing to a fatherly example for my husband. I bought him a Steve Funko Pop earlier this year. His dad is free now and runs a small business (unknown name or goods/services), last I heard. I can only hope he changed for the better.

It wasnt exactly an on-stage death, but in 1976, jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi (the first 17 Charlie Brown/Peanuts TV specials; "Cast Your Fate To The Wind") had played the first of two sets at a California club. Tillikum, has now killed 3 people by drowning them and physical trauma, including one person who didnt work there, entered the park after hours to swim with Tillikum. The person was found dead the next day. Animals in captivity, like Tillikum, develope depression and sometimes will lash out against people because they are upset. Whales and Dolphins are extremely intelligent, even to the point of rivaling mans intelligence, but in different ways. They can get upset about little things. Unfortunately, what they consider " gentle", is usually much more traumatizing than we can handle.
