Brava!!! I have both books which i went through this summer! I bought two more for backup. I’m so excited for this one that I preordered!! I’m also glad it will be a bit more challenging. I learned so much from doing the other two, and was able to do it in my own time, free of watching things on a computer! I’m so tired of computers with all this Covid stuff. Take me back to hands-on work with real paint! Thank you, Dana, and I hope you start working on your next book now. (LOL)

I have your other two books and love them. I finished the forest one and am half way through the ocean one. My only complaint is the quality of the paper but I do understand why since it would cost a fortune otherwise. I am trying some of the pictures on better quality paper and they look great. Wonderful work! For your next book, why not birds or simple landscapes?

Iade Nicole I’m so glad you love them! Yes the paper is super expensive already and anything of a higher gsm just isn’t feasible unfortunately. I don’t want people to have to pay $50 for a book. It would make the book too thick as well, which also increases shipping costs. The cost of paper has actually gone up as well hence another reason that the other 2 books will be increasing in cost! It’s a crazy time for paper and publishing haha.

I loved your first two books and bought several copies of the Forest book for students as well as gifts for my family. But there is a mistake on this one....Do you realize that this book with half the illustrations cost the same or even more than the first two? Can you speak to the publisher to correct this?

Hey! I have addressed this SO many times on social media as well as on comments in amazon reviews. This book has 25 projects as opposed to 50. It was not a mistake, this was how it has always been from the start and I've made sure to always be up front about this whenever I talk about the book. The cost of printing and the paper the publisher uses has gone up SO much (yay current economy...) hence the price being the same as the other 2 for now. This is why there are less projects. However, because of the increase of cost to produce these books, the other 2 books will also be going up in cost... I mentioned this increase in the video too. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about this. Once I hand over the book content and artwork the publisher makes the final decisions.

I bought this book here in Canada. A little disappointed that it is the same price as the first two (which I also bought) but only half the size. Also I am struggling with this paper that appears to have a honeycomb texture. Don’t care for it.
