@@geraci89 He was intense and effortless at the same time! The last time I got to see them live, I got fairly close to the stage and was yelling at him to play Taking It Uptown. and they did! Oh my goodness, the man just blistered the guitar like nobody I have ever seen and I've seen a lot of great acts. Boston, Aerosmith, Clapton, Marshall Tucker, Skynyrd, Tull, Gary Wright, Pablo Cruise, Doobies, Eagles...and more.

Terry actually used a Stratocaster during the recording of this. But even with the Telecaster, it still sounds like a dream.

I’ve been listening to this song from Chicago since I was eleven in 1970 (now 63). I was mesmerized by Terry Kath’s solo. It was just huge to my little ears but so cool !!!! Whenever I see someone play a guitar cover it always gives me great appreciation for the original guitarist. Terry Kath was even better than I thought he was! Jimi Hendrix said he was the "best guitarist in the universe"! Maybe he was right?

That's why I do em. Playing what Terry Kath played gives me a special sense of satisfaction. Obviously when not doing a video you add your own flavours and make it a bit more organic. Terry was great and so was Jimi and many others.
