I struggled for 12 years with infertility and now a momma to an incredible son. Seeing my husband as a father, pushing the stroller, being included in kid activites, loving him. All the small moments. It is the best stage of my entire life. He was worth the long wait.

Being a new mama has been really hard for me - losing my independence, stuck at home all the time.. but the LOVE I have for my son is the most beautiful thing I've ever experienced. He's my everything, and I'll take the bad with the good, because I know the hard newborn stage doesn't last forever and he won't always need me like he needs me now. Watching my husband become a father has been one of my favorite parts of the journey. I knew he was loving, but watching him get teary eyed when his son smiled at him for the first time.. now THAT is a wonderful thing to witness.

You know what I find remarkable. The fact that my “boys” are men now and I love them as much if not more than when they were little. They’ll always be that little boy in my mind and heart. To see the love and hard work you put into them as children make them into the wonderful men they are today. So wonderful 💜✨🤗

I really needed this today! I was just beating myself up because it took 3 hours for my baby to finally go down for a nap. He's 8 months old and working on his 7th and 8th tooth. I mean seriously... It's soooooo hard. He's grumpy. I'm exhausted. Then I saw this and was like hello... It's his comfort. He nursed off and on for 3 hours. He needs ME. And I'm doing awesome.

Wanted to be a mom as long I can remember, then tried for years and experiencing loss and pain unlike other. And now, I’m a mother to my son. Happiest time of my life, filled with love, that I could have never dreamed of. My heart bursts when he rests his head on my chest 😊💗 I’m going to write something similar to my son. Thanks!

I love this list! Teaching my kids is one of my favorite things as well. My 4.5 year old is very knowledge driven (and CONSTANTLY asking why, haha), so it is so fun to give her little bits of knowledge throughout the day. We have started homeschooling her, and the plan is to homeschool all three of our girls either all the way through school or until it’s not working for them individually anymore. I feel like I’ve just gotten my feet wet with homeschooling and teaching so far, but we are all loving it. Is homeschooling something you have considered for Nova and any future siblings?

I think I would consider homeschooling for the first couple of years maybe! (especially if we were travelling here and there or something like that). 😊

Ayla! Wow! I'm not sure why but this video struck an emotional cord with me. It was SO beautiful. There came a point in my life after 11 years of marriage that I doubted I would ever me a mom. Sure I was a step mom, but a mom to my OWN child. I prayed for the Lord to give me grace if it wasn't His plan for us to have our own kids, but that if He saw fit that he would allow us to get pregnant. Fast forward a couple years & no medical intervention we found out we were expecting! We now have a beautiful 4 month old baby girl! All the reasons you gave were spot on! Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily tasks we forget to slow down or think we don't have the time to slow down & enjoy our kids. Thank you for the reminder to slow down & enjoy EVERY second! 1) they are not this young forever 2) you never know when your last moment with them will be 3) time FLIES! Laundry, dishes, unmade beds, etc. CAN WAIT. Time doesn't stand still. Thank you again for sharing this! So happy for you!

What a wonderful mother you are. Just out of curious, when you adopt embryos, are they gifted to you or do you have to purchase them. I always wonder how that works.
@aylasophia38725 жыл бұрын
I can only speak to my experience in Canada, but they are “gifted” and not bought. Here in Canada you cannot pay anyone for reproductive matter (sperm, eggs, embryos). We paid for the legal & IVF process and etc 😊❤️
