Notch is the person who coded Minecraft. His real name is Markus Persson and in 2014 he sold Minecraft and left Mojang. Before leaving however, he added several secrets, things you didn't know, into Minecraft. Anything from Survival, Hardcore, SMP, Servers, Farlands, Creepers - even going as far back as to Minecraft Alpha, Minecraft Indev and Infdev, Minecraft Beta and even new things from 1.17.1 and 1.18 update. Notch worked with jeb_ at Mojang.

There is some false information in this video, for example the creeper area effect cloud thing. This was added in 1.11, so two years after notch left. It's very unlikely that this was his doing.

The mob vision with spectator gamemode also reminds me of this feature I think in 1.12 where you clicked a button and it would give you some special vision, I think it was called super secret settings or something.

With the apple recipe, you required 8 apples in the form of a chestplate on the crafting grid to make 1 arrow, instead of a single apple.

brick pyramids aren't really rare , theyre just really far off. for me it always takes about 15-20 minutes to find one by just going in a single direction. also , in the version of infdev the brick pyramid was added , you couldnt obtain blocks from mining them so you basically had no way to obtain the brick at all.

When the local difficulty (which increases over time on a per-chunk basis when you're in that chunk, and increases faster on higher difficulties) is high enough, Zombies and Skeletons will spawn with random armor. As they can't wear armor, Spiders spawn with random potion effects instead. I don't remember all of the possible effects right now, but 2 of them are Speed and Invisibility. Also, I think Creepers have a chance to spawn Charged at high local difficulty.
