It looks like a good way to do a snowflake, or fractal, technique story development. It looks like a great way to brainstorm story ideas, too. I changed a lot of story in something i’d started in the Plan section, then had to cut a bunch out. I like keeping it in Snippets and Codex. Do you keep the final synopsis and make it available to the ai? Now i have to go try it out!

Dramaturgical curve?
@AvonLiden2 ай бұрын
Glad you are paying attention to details! The dramaturgical curve (aka dramatic arc) is meant to build to a dramatic high point before resolving in a satisfying way. The typical stages are: 1. Exposition - This sets the stage, introduces the characters, and establishes the initial situation. 2. Rising Action - This is where the central conflict or problem is introduced and begins to escalate, driving the characters and plot forward. 3. Climax - This is the point of highest tension or drama, where the central conflict reaches a peak and a major turning point occurs. 4. Falling Action - This is where the consequences of the climax are dealt with and the story begins to resolve. 5. Resolution - This is the final part where loose ends are tied up and the overall story is concluded. Here is what it translates to in the case of my novel "Sweet Temptations". 1 Exposition - Lucy and Mark run Sweet Temptations, a cozy patisserie in Greenfield. Lucy’s unmarried sister, passes away, leaving Lucy as the guardian of her three-year-old niece, Lily. 2. Rising Action - Lucy becomes romantically involved with John, who captivates her attention despite his questionable character traits. During her mirror moment Lucy decides to cut ties with John. Instead she starts to date Ethan. 3. Climax - The revelation of Mark's feelings for Lucy, coupled with his contemplation of leaving Greenfield, serves as the emotional peak. Lucy realizes the depth of her connection with Mark just as she risks losing him. 4. Falling Action - Lucy confronts her feelings and past distractions, leading her to a moment of clarity. She runs back to Mark to confess her true feelings and regrets, marking a pivotal decision point in her journey. 5. Resolution - Lucy and Mark embrace their genuine feelings for each other, culminating in a heartfelt kiss that symbolizes their commitment to one another and their future together as a family with Lily.
