Really enjoyed this video Tiffany! I'm 35 and these all still hold up even now. I'd love to add a few myself. ✨1. Don't let family or friends hold you down. We all deserve to be happy and to live our own dreams. Sometimes that means having distance or setting boundaries and that's 100% okay. ✨2. It's okay to scrap an idea and completely redo it. I've often found that the art I made after completely scrapping something was even better from what I originally wanted. ✨3. Bob Ross was actually on to something when he said "happy little accidents". I find that as an artist, the times I grew the most was when I made mistakes! ✨4. Don't be afraid to grow. I feel like artists have the hardest time with this but if you want to change up your style, that's okay. It's always best to stay true to yourself and your own heart when it comes to creativity. Always strive to grow and really lean into whatever brings you the most hippieness. The last thing you want is to box yourself in and lose all your sense of joy. And one more, ✨5. Life is short. Live each day to the fullest and make time for those you love when you can. Live your life for yourself. We only get one go at it, so stay true to your own heart and enjoy the ride. ❤

I love these and so true. I'm paying rent on a studio as my house is not big enough. I'm not getting anything back on it yet so it's out my pocket. I feel a struggle to move forward as people close to me are saying give it up stick with your real job. This is what I've always wanted but anxious to step forward 😢

#18 is important. Its important to talk to friends but also remember to ask permission to vent/trauma dump. If you are a ball of anxiety constantly and constantly going to the same people with the same worries but not doing anything to change that, you are definitely going to exhaust them. I've been on both sides of this. Normalize asking a friend "Do you have space for me to share some worries?" and respect if they say no and don't take it personally. (I know, easier said than done) We're all working through stuff.

You have definitely become more confident in yourself from when you first started your channel. At the same time, one of your greatest traits is your humility, which is an ability to say "I don't know X" but at the same time have the confidence to say, "I want to know how and I want to figure this out. " A lot of people are gripped by their self doubt and unless they see the payoff up front before they start, they will not even make an attempt. Sometimes learning is not linear like that. It's fun to watch you grow.

hey Tiffany! I always enjoy your videos and I especially enjoyed the content/message of this video! I turned 26 in February so I feel like I'm learning the same things as you haha its like being 25 opens your mind up to a whole new perspective. For me the biggest lesson I've learned relates to being okay with letting people go. I too am such a people pleaser and having that revelation opened my eyes to how toxic some of my friendships were. It was hard at first to make the change but they were not supportive and always seemed to put me down. I totally agree that life is too short to be stuck up on things that don't make us feel happy or good about ourselves. And I truly feel so much better about myself and really felt more like who I am supposed to be! Thanks for always sharing your advice, experiences, and processes! Although we're about the same age, I look up to you in so many ways and I truly appreciate you!

A lot of the things you mentioned like mimicking, not listening to your body (hunger, restroom breaks), worrying about what your friend is thinking when you hang out are things I can relate to as an audhd adult. I'm glad you've found ways to slow down and listen to yourself. Definitely something that is difficult for neurodivergent people 💕

The anxiety issue was relatable to me. I used to constantly overthink things and it negatively effected my first relationship. Tbh I wasn't emotionally mature enough for one anyway. But thankfully, that past relationship has changed me for the better and I've become a lot more independent in my thoughts. I'm not constantly waiting for someone to make a decision for me or worry about what others think of me. It's quite freeing once you learn that nobody really cares. If they don't care, why should I? Even though I'm only 20 now, I can safely say I'm not the same scared person I was 2 years ago. I hope I can continue to be a bit more fearless each day.

i can't remember where i saw these ideas - the 20/80 rule with art, where about 20 percent of your work will be 'good' or 'worthy of sharing,' and the other 80 percent will be work you think will flop, or 'isn't as good.' also the idea that your best work is ahead of you - the worst thing you can do is stagnate! but also learning how to use benign neglect to your benefit. so much of being a person is about balance :)

Here’s a question, how did you find a cpa to help with online selling? That’s the issue I’m having. I totally forget doing human/body stuff though. I have to set timers when I’m too focused so I can take a break, stretch, etc. I’m trying to fix the dry eye I’ve developed over the years for doing computer work for too long.

Here me out: I wish I’d known how to get myself out of bad situations before 25, and all the reasons listed here are part of that. Seriously, everything in this list is extremely vital and crucial to learn early because if you learn it late it causes so many problems
