It's much more serious than an ankle condition. What he has causes pain during and after any sport activity. It affects the bones and the cartilage that's attached to bones. People probably hated him without knowing about this disease. It's lucky that it was diagnosed because it could affect his femur on either leg. Once it's diagnosed, it's treatable and manageable, so it doesn't keep getting worst, but it cannot be cured.
