I think people kind of missed how much Diego, with his JFK thing, changed Reginald's life... he made it personal for him. Reginald sent his butler with the "I told you so" note to show Diego that JFK was not going to die. And he was proven wrong, and saw just how bad the Majestic 12 were. If not for Diego, I don't think he would have given a damn if JFK lived or died and would have worked with them longer Also, Diego got Grace to leave Reginald... IMO he cared for her enough to rebuild her as a robot in the future so her departure must have not gone unnoticed. I mean, between Grace and the Majestic 12, Diego got Reginald's life (or a big chunk of it) to fall apart. No wonder he started started fresh and changed everything (made sure to chose other children)...

I have so many theories... So Reginald meets his "kids" and sees how dysfunctional they are and so chooses different kids with the sparrow academy. And he knew at some point the original kids would show cause he said as much. The reason there is a Ben still is because he didn't see Ben at the table and didn't know about him. It's also pretty clear the sparrow academy is more unified and a closer family since none of them actually left the academy. My only hole in this theory is that Reginald tried to get all the kids to begin with so how would he know which ones grew up to be the original and how did he get new ones he didn't get before. Another theory is that the academy kids are stronger when they are closer together which is why they do all of their biggest feats together, and why the sparrow academy may be more powerful. I love the theory of Harlan possibly being the reason for the sparrow academy and that he will be the big bad of season 3. I think he always had a power and what vanya did was jump start it or awaken it. I don't think it's the same as vanya anymore since when he was levitating the toy there was no sound or light involved. What do yall think?

I think the curse of the Werewolf Reference is actually a reference to the comics, where in The Oblivion Hotel run Allison deals with a villain who turns into a monster,but is really just looking for her child. I hope they do that in season 3 because it'd be such a nice juxtaposition paired with Allison's inability to see her daughter.

It was his reason for wanting be a hero and save jfk. Besides the daddy issues as well. He redeems himself when pulling a matrix/bullet time move and stopping all the rounds heading toward his siblings.

One of the saddest moments in season 2 umbrella academy was the scene when Hargreaves cut Diego apart by talking about his hero complex and how Diego couldn't reply as he got his stutter back from when he was a child. I felt SO BAD for him and it was nice to see how all the other siblings do actually care as they all looked at him (despite not doing anything to stop Hargreaves.)

My theory is that because Reginald knew that one day he would adopt kids born on October first he decided to go looking for them then he found the sparrow academy and he didn’t adopt the umbrella academy because he met them before and Reginald thinks that they killed the president which he didn’t want them but he was fine with Ben because he wasn’t envolved
