Basketball is a game where personal style can show. Soccer/football is like that too. Makes it special when a player is out there and you can see their style. Look up Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Bob Cousy, Dr J... special players with unforgettable styles. Clark is getting like that. Really unique to watch. :)

If you are old enough to have watched Pistol Pete Maravich, it will become unquestionably evident that CC is channeling Pistol Pete. Her moves are identical to his. @@mr.solitude3352 she reminds me of Pistol.
@johndickinson16053 ай бұрын
First, let me make clear that I'm not arguing your comparison but offering one I believe is more accurate. I worshipped Pistol when I was growing up, so much so, that I signed my tests and papers in school with a close resemblance of his autograph. But that is not why I offer a different player that she reminds me of with her game. Pistol was as much about entertaining with his play and he reveled in it. The player CC reminds me of more is Larry Legend. The ability and effort in all aspects of the game, not to mention the effort, makes me have Celtic and Bird memories. And don't forget the effect for their respective leagues and improvement of their team in their rookie seasons should not be overlooked. The rebounds, assists, and scoring are the apparent and deserved accolades. But, it's also the way of making teammates better, the motivation on and off the court, and the team's win/loss records are impressive. As fans, we should be appreciative and realize that we are lucky to watch this type of play from stars that despite the recognition and wealth they receive, most likely play as much for the love of the game.

Pistol Pete was so good. It was such a shame his knees wore out. If he were playing today we have new medical technology that would have allowed him to play longer. I watched him play totally in pain but he kept going and then he had to say it's time to say goodbye.

It's crazy that she's only shooting 34.1% from three, which is just barely above the efficiency threshold. I expect her to work on it during the offseason, because I think her capability is above 40%, which would make her literally unstoppable. She shoots four out of ten from three, she can do whatever she wants on the basketball court. Literally unguardable.

Her shooting was down i think, cause of fatigue. After the Olympic break she was shooting her normal percentages. She shot 34 percent overall, but she shot 40 percent from 28 feet out. She is better off the dribble. Sides had her doing alot of catch and shoot early in season. That's not her game.
