if u have a carry-on bag, never board last coz when u get to ur seat u will find the overhead compartment full.

I’ve traveled on dozens of flights, never bought anything from duty free other than a litre of spirits occasionally. ‘ Duty free’ is a rip off, more expensive than high streets

Never board last, if they need to allow a crew member on for relocation the last person on is the first person kicked off.

and most important, don't waste your time, listening and watching the whole episode. because most of the things you should do or not do, are being repeated in a spliced together second part. i t comes from a different episode i assume? because also the voice of the narrator is a different one.

You sound Canadian, I don’t doubt for one minute that every single speck of every single airport in Canada is highly monitored, coming through Montreal airport. On the way home was painful to say the least. I had to take out my CPAP machine and plug it in to prove it wasn’t a bomb.🙄

Nonsense.. I am a gold and platinum status holder with the major alliances, fly over 70 flights a year .. no such thing with carry on ( as never check in luggage) to come last…. You will not be able to store it , be smart , go fast and first

If you'd rather check your bag but don't want to pay the fee, it's better to wait as long as possible to board, then often overhead space will be gone, so the airline will require you to check the bag and it will be no cost. Also, less chance then that your checked bag will go on the wrong flight or be left behind.

@@Werewolf0216 sure , free it then will be .. you remember the lost bags and chaos still with luggage handeling? Reason not to fly with check in luggage s much as possible , specifically with non direct flight and short layovers.. I learned my lesson but everyone is free to have their own tactic

@@onnodecloe3571 Checking at the gate is the best way to check your luggage because it is right there at the plane you will be flying on and will easily go directly on that plane. Plus you get the check free. I don't mind doing that if they run out of stowbin space because I hate boarding first, I prefer to board last because then I don't have to sit on the plane as long. But yes, better if a nonstop flight for sure because yes, any transfer risks luggage getting misdirected...can't disagree with you on that.

The most annoying one on this list is the selling of your personal items. 99.9% of these can be returned, it's just too much work. They don't care and take the easy way, do nothing. FYI, IT'S NOT THIER STUFF!!! It's basically stealing. They can return it, they just don't

Yeah, go ahead and board LAST. You'll spend some time looking for a spot in the overhead bins for your carry on bag, and that spot will most likely be several rows BEHIND your assigned seat. You then wait for everyone else to get off the aircraft before you can get back to pick up your carry on bag. Stupid, stupid, stupid. This little bon mot on boarding last is just ignorant. An aircraft dispatcher or flight dispatcher is a different job. He's in the airline's ops center and shares responsibility with the pilot for the flight. But in Europe and Africa that's called a flight operations officer, so I bet this channel is from there.

Board last if you want to lose your seat! I tried once and lost my paid window seat as they gave it to someone else since plane was fully booked.

if your ticket said that was your seat you show it to the flight attendant and make them move. i board last usually so i don't have to stand, i have back problems and standing hurts. i never have issues losing my seat. now if i'm on a flight like south west where it's a free for all then i try to board sooner so i can get the seat i want but if your ticket says you have seat B2 then thats your seat. you don't lose them. the other person would have a seat number that they just need to move to.

@@WomanRoaring. I was on a plane once and a woman had a ticket with seat number and the man sitting there wouldn’t move. She had to get the stewardess, and the man still wouldn’t move until she looked at the ticket and told him he was on the wrong flight going to the wrong city. He slunk off the airplane to laughter.

There are two myths from the first narrator in this video. 1. The primary reasons airfare is high is due to the cost of Jet Fuel and rising cost of Labor. Landing fees have a lesser impact on ticket prices. 2. There’s no such thing as a “hidden door” that celebrities/VIP passengers use to board flights. They use the same passenger doors as everyone else.

This clip forgot to mention that for cannabis smokers its good to pack a hit or 2 towards the end of your cigarette and repack with tobacco so you can enjoy in smoking lounge without looking like the reason why others may smell it . 🤠

Where are the tricks, the airports don’t want us to know?? If you bord last and have a seat in the back or the middle, you have to wait anyway to get there and in addition there comes that the overhead bins are always full.. so rather try to bord early. And I have never seen, that an airline gives away a seat when you actually are checked in and have a seat number on your ticket… they agree to a contract by issuing the pass and they have to transport you.

Fact: In China Airports the people that are in the back seat board first and store their bags by their seats very fast boarding. Second: there are up to six doors on a planes and they use only two causing a huge back up, Why not use three per side and larger planes that have over 350 people.

They have done the studies, and the result is that it doesn't matter how you board, the time is about the same, and no, China airports don't do that anymore. Also, they only open one door on the plane to control the flow of people and keep track of number of people getting on the plane. The more entrances, the more chances of security or safety issues. Let's not assume aviation industry is full of dumb people waiting for people like us to come up with better ideas for them. There are rules and regulations that we are not aware of, and they spend millions improving their procedures to ensure safety and security regulations are followed, while maximizing efficiency and comfort. Not an easy task.

Well when you mention calm passengers and big windows, quite the opposite at PET Dorval YUL airport, I'm embarrassed when people visit me in Montreal.. for all the improvement fees we have paid over the years our airport especially the gates are small, crowded and depressing.
