25 Year Build-Massive 1950s Backyard Town- Coolest Thing I've Ever Made- EP28

25 years ago, Debbie and Ronnie started building their 1950s town. Not only does it have 14 separate buildings, but each one of them is jammed packed with 1950s nostalgia. With little to no help, Ronnie built each of the building using mainly recycled and found material and his wife Debbie proceeded to paint them and fill them to the brim. From their working diner (with functioning soda machines) to the full size gas station, this has to be one of the most impressive backyard towns in the world. This is an exclusive first look at this incredible creation.

Ronnie and Debbie are my parents and they watched this today. They said you did a great job! They do not have internet so they have no way to comment. For those asking, they are not looking to do tours publicly. They are enjoying retirement and only do a few private tours for local churches and friends. It would be too much for them to do more. They have been thrilled to see so many get to enjoy their hardwork and passion through this video. ❤

Its funny how these kids see the 1950s versus adults in 1950, who knew the shift from Forties designs, coastal obsession, Hollywood glam, greens! Light blues! Mint! Maroon! By the late 1950s, it was entirely different. This town reminds me of the early 1950s where 1930s style diners and shops looked like this and were unchaged! So this reminds me of a 1930s village, real 1930s. So well done, and definitely more talented commitment than obsession. Happy couple, lovely.

Her collection is only gonna gain value over time so really it’s a major investment. Plus the property is gaining value but I’m not sure if it outweighs how much they’ve spent over the years on the construction, but most all they love it which is awesome. Don’t ever stop😊

Obviously financial resources are massively at play here but life in general is relative to the individual situation and these two are the very Definition of making the most out of the time we have in this world. Special attention is due to the undeniable love that this couple shares in their partnership. I guarantee their grandkids tell stories their friends have a hard time believing.
