25 Years Pokémon - Theme Song (Drum Cover by Verry on Drums)

It's actually very easy to get carried away, when playing this song. The drums are right on the edge of what the instrumentation allows. There is so much going on with the piano, synth pad, and guitar and I've seen so many covers, where the drummer gets overly creative and disrupts the flow of the track with way to many fills and unnecessary use of the toms. What a relief to see a drummer who actually understands instrumentation and balance!

Sweet mother of mercy!! This really brought tears out of me - I have been watching Pokemon since i was like 5 years old! And i used to sing to the music almost every day! And i also that i do agree with Peter Barkholt as well, there to many drum covers that does fill in alot when it isn't really fit for it. This woman truly played that song how's supposed to be! I'm no drummer myself but i do listen to alot of music and really trying to learn how the drumms are played in diffrent songs, she did it PERFECTLY!

Great performance! Apart from a few kick strokes here and there, you really resist the temptation to overplay, unlike many others covering this same song.
