@@The_Str4nger Even the worst train network is better than having a rubbish public transportation system (if you can call it that at all) in the US. If you don't like the german "Deutsche Bahn", that's understandable, but I would highly recommend no trying the US equivalent. There's a reason why most people take planes or their car (even for long trips) in the States.

@@omsi-fanmark please consider, that from 1992 our railroad system was privatized (and not somehow, it's a private joint-stock company, with the Federal Republic of Germany being its single shareholder) and before that privatisation we had trains on time, it wasn't expensive to take the train (nowadays it's cheaper to take the car, since the monopoly for bus transport has fallen, the plebs are taking the bus, even more cheaper). The Deutsche Bundesbahn was for everyone from rich to poor, we miss it a lot.

Dude, it was your channel that inspired me to pick up a PSR 510 & a PSS 480 (I only spent a total of $30 for both) at the local Goodwill, refurb them back to near mint and use them to add to my instrumental arsinal & record with - all of which has been massive creative fun! Thomann - that‘s where I bought my Roland G800 keyboard more than 20 years ago. It’s just about 40 kilometers from my home. At that time they were a medium sized store. Today they are one of the (or the) biggest (online) stores in Europe.

Thomann is the reference in Europe when it comes to what gear should cost. If you buy something at a store, you check the Thomann online price and decide if the extra cost of buying it from the store is worth it for their service and keeping a local actor going.

Those melodicas are really popular in schools where I live in Ecuador. If you think it is interesting hearing one guy mess around with it who already has musical knowledge, imagine what it's like to hear a roaming herd of 20-30 kids wandering the streets after school blowing on those things... I am nearly deaf already. Also, Look Mum No Computer right in the thumbnail! Yes!!!!

Really cool to see you at thomann. I live in Nuremberg and the first time I went there they didn't have all these large builings and you had to navigate a narrow serpentine to get there. Nothing to give away the awesomeness that lies behind that entrance. When I stepped into the guitar section, I could have sworn, I heard a choir singing.

I began watching 8 bit keys from about a week ago and I am not a big fan of synth or whatever as I am really into retro gaming and computers and not much into music. David you really have a talent of making almost anything really interesting. And this video is a tiny jewel as I got to discover a lot of other youtubers with very interesting content. Yeah, Thomann is a good musical instrument supplier in Europe. I live in Finland and I have ordered one big synth (Alesis Fusion), a trumpet, a couple of flutes, a couple of show lasers and some other things from them for over a decade without any problems. It's great that they also do events like this!

@ Given that we're talking about wrong information about synths in a video about synths, your judgement is a little hArsh. Thinking that d represents "delay" and "s" represents "how long a sound sounds" are two common misconceptions about how ADSR works and expecting them to behave like that can only cause intense disappointment. kthxbye
