Ok, I have several questions: Why build in a desk? Why in THIS desk, as it stays half empty? Why all these unnecessary fans? I love your external radiator worstation builds, but why in the hell didn't you integrate it into the desk this time as it would be a perfect fit in the left sided ATX tray? Why a see through top for a clear function-build? Is there a reason not to go with dual loop? Normally I see why it doesn't make sense but here I could imagine a real benefit... I don't mean to be disrespectful since you are a clear authority in professional watercooled workstation building of this tier, just genuinely interested.

I had a question. Given how the entire rig is being externally water cooled, is there a point to the 14+ fans in the system inside?
@Appri3 жыл бұрын
it still needs to move air over the electronics, not everything is water cooled. For example, network cards, mosfets, etc
@mattiacarluschi73393 жыл бұрын
Actually it is crucial with this amount of hardware. Even though a lot of the heat produced is taken away by the liquid cooling, a consistent part of if remains in the "case", and needs to be moved out, thanks to multiple fans. Also, heat tends to spread through solid materials, not only by air. This means that even the parts which usually do not get cooled (like ssds, hard drives, mobo, PSU) might get hotter, and accumulate even more heated air in the case.

Hello, greetings YK friends. What a marvel of machine you built in this video, a well-armed beast ... I have 3 questions that I would like to ask you, 1) was there room for another build inside the LIAN LI DK-05F and to make a dual PC system? If that were possible, what would be the budget to make that dual system but changing the double XEON for a THREADRIPPER 3970X and, in the other construction, a RYZEN 9 5950X?, the two motherboards to use would be the GIGABYTE TRX40 AORUS XTREME and the GIGABYTE X570 AORUS XTREME respectively. I leave the other components to your knowledge with the criterion of always using the best quality components regardless of the cost, but I am only interested in not changing the processors that I already mentioned, nor the M / B.

One MORA is extremely poor for 4x3090 and 2 xeons, even yours 9x140. I have two alphacool 3x120 45mm and one 4x120 45mm alphacool radiators for 5900x and 3080, sequential loop. And adding the last mentioned 4x120 radiator reduced the water T for ~7-10*. I`m not sure why you use MORA here, when table can safely generically adopt four 4x120 radiators to the womb. I still believe you`ll need this MORA addition even with four 4x120. And yes, sequential loop of 4x 3090 and 2 xeons is not a good idea:( I was skipping the ending parts of the video, but could not understand the circle flow, but if xeons get water after 3090, I just literally see the last xeon saying "fucking thank you!" :)
