""EVERY DAY IS A SCHOOL DAY". I just had a go at laying my own patio. Only 5m x 2m (it's a seating area really!) I did the 3/4/5 for angles and used a string line as an edge, but I cannot mix mortar for love nor money despite watching numerous videos etc (used a mixer) My mixes were either far too sloppy resulting in a couple of dipped slabs or too hard making bedding them in hard work, but, it works and the wife is happy. Love learning the technical side from you guys and the fact I live miles away means you aren't losing any business by 'training' me to do it myself 😅 Thanks fella's.

Back to the gravel board fence, you made a lovely job of it but really don't like the look, just my opinion. Can't wait for the resin to go down. You are fed very well on that job. Epic episode guys! I've said it before but it's so good seeing Finn develop under your tutelage Dave! He's a cheeky guy too lol. Nice sense of humour but to quote Bib Fortuna 'He's no Jedi!' even if he IS trying to pretend to be Obiwan with his quote 'Well Hello!'lol. But if he's a fan of Startwars then he's seriously raised himself in my estimation. What a lovely woman to cook a variety of food to keep you all fed. It was cute Finn loved her Cobb the best. Wonderful generous gifts. I teared up seeing Hugo. ❤. Well well well . What a day. Left the house at 9am got home at 19.30. Went to a celebrity football match who were raising money for my Local Veterans Hub. At about 1pm i had my first D&J PROJECTS discount code. Thank you for the shout out. Hope the present helps you out. I did say it would have a BIG IMPACT lol. Hi to all at d&j,so ive gotta say im thinking dave and finn you are taking you're time on the resin top because they are the most lovely generous people and the food is out of this world 😋👍im definitely not a fan of the concrete boards as looks like a concrete jungle but as long as the customer is happy thats the main thing,on the 10 bay fencing job stevie asked us to guess how long it took and my guess was finished at 15.30 so i wasn't to far out at all,EVERYDAY IS A SCHOOL DAY👍gotta say that slate plaque of hugo was amazing and watching bearnie crying made me cry aswell as they are part of the family aren't they😔the amount of amazing subscribers is just amazing and i just wish i could afford to send you guys something i really do😏love stevie butchering Liverpool with his accent 😂i do love the banter with dave and finnbar on the resin job makes me laugh👌so i couldn't believe dave the amount of you're staff inc chealsea who obviously don't watch the videos as they didn't kniw what the £20 was for😂😂sort them out lol,fantastic hour long episode guys so thankyou for that🙂👍

Afternoon D&J team I missed you yesterday but I’m caught up now (so far I’ve not missed a single video of yours and didn’t intend to make this the first) but wow 828 of them little flags that would have done my head in laying all them but 828 seems to me too be a low number to go round the house twice and then down the drive 4 times plus the extra bits and unusable ones. But you’ll be right on the number. I really enjoyed Dave explaining how they laid out the strings and where they got their levels from it brought back a lot from when I used to do landscaping but the only thing I was taught was to never use any paver that was sized at a half or smaller. I always had to cut down 2 so there was 2x three quarters in place of one & half and the small paver would be seen as a small paver will always stand out as your walking along them. I can’t wait to see it with the tarmac in it that alone will look brilliant and then when you get that resin on it it will look the K9 testies or as you say not to shabby! That portrait of Hugo was enough to bring a tear to a lot of eyes not just the bosses (Bernie’s) it was a wonderful gift from an admirer and watcher of your shows. Dave that giving all the team £20 shows how much you appreciate your team I know it’s only £20 and it doesn’t go far but it allows everyone to go and get themselves their own pizza and a side dish when they want to and maybe share it with their partner. But I bet Jordan’s kicking himself for being off on holiday this week lol no I know he’ll get his when he’s back. And you’ll make sure you do.
