256-Way BIG SHOT

Since the new chapters seem to be coming out soon I promise I'll make mashups of the new secret boss themes once enough remixes release. I'm sorry I couldn't release V2 of this, it just ended up ballooning in size as a project and I lost motivation because this is already out, and releasing a second (third technically) one seems redundant. But the new mashups will be WAY better, I've learned a lot since this. Maybe V2 will come someday if someone pays me to do it lol. I'll release what was already finished of the project soon, it sounded really good. I'll go into more of why I gave up once I release the unfinished project, if anyone cares.

Hey, I've been thinking of making the V2 myself, but I want to know how to make it, as I don't know how yet. If you could share with me how you do it, in a video or such, than that would be much appreciated. I'd give you credit, too,. For the ideas and the spreadsheet. I just need to know how to make one of these, and some (free) video editing software.

@@GabledbankI use DaVinci Resolve at the moment, it's completely free, but I used adobe premiere pro to make this video. Adobe in general absolutely sucks so I would recommend just learning how to use davinci, or if you really want to use adobe just pirate it if you know how to. Now, going into the specifics on how to make something like this, there's two ways: First, the more difficult option but yields better quality, is to download the audio of all the videos first and combine them, making sure they're synchronized. I used audacity for this but it takes a bit to get used to and I wouldn't recommend this option if you're first starting out, especially if you don't even know how to use video editing software. Then after that is to download all the videos, make sure they're synchronized as much as possible with the audio and go from there. The reason why I say this option yields better quality is because video editing software runs on keyframes and is not meant to deal with very small timeframes, which is needed to make the audio sound synchronized. I tried this with V2 and... yeah it was 6x the work of this video and I lost motivation. Don't forget for this option you're going to have to remember any pitch changes you make to make to any remix and transfer it to the video form too. It becomes a lot very quickly, but I prefer quality over quantity when editing. Second option is to do what I said but skip the audio combination part, which yields less quality but is easier to make, unsurprisingly. Just make the videos and mash em together. Don't forget you're going to have to split the project into parts, as no software no matter how strong your computer is cannot handle hundreds of videos at once, along with audio software not being able to handle a bunch of audio as well. When I tried V2 I split it into 25 remixes each so it split evenly, and wasn't that difficult to do. I would recommend that you do not try this especially because you do not have experience with video editing software. Once you become acquainted with it and maybe audio editing too, I would try it. You have to learn a bunch of stuff before trying something like this which can only be learned by experience, as this is a very niche type of video.

I'll probably do a video tutorial in the future as it's hard to visualize what the hell I'm talking about, but again I would only recommend this undertaking to people decently experienced with editing and motivated. I love BIG SHOT, but hearing it thousands of times especially when audio editing and can't listen to anything else can feel like you're undergoing CIA torture.

@@GabledbankOk yeah, just use audacity or something for audio syncing. I usually put remixes in a BPM finder to figure out the pitch and then convert it to BIG SHOT's original BPM, which is 140 (or 70, if the remix analyzed is like near 70 then just convert it to 70) Pretty much all of the audio editing process for this is just cutting out unnecessary parts, changing BPM, and making sure everything starts at the same time. Not difficult to learn, just very tedious.
