Any insight for me on how to get started building machines like these by hand?
@rcmagnet Жыл бұрын
I feel this question will be answered much better in Facebook groups. Others can chime in and show what they have built and now

Keywords; lathe and mill for metal, tools for working with sheetmetal, soldering, knowledge of CAD design for creation of 3D printed parts and designing models, knowledge of rc equipment. To create these models from scratch involves quite some knowledge, skills and a more or less well equipped tool shop. One might get by with some less fancy tools. Many who are into this kind of scratch building are ofte mechanics, craftsmen, engineers by proffession, but there are also selftought people.

@@Rimrock300 I’m an operating engineer by trade so i don’t know if that counts for anything lol. I took Industrial maintenance at my vocational school and do have some experience with cad. Only problem is I don’t have the workshop for it
