Such a horrible call with forgive, even the judges took forever to beep it cuz it made no sesne. You can tell everyone thought it was a dumb call :/ love the show but stuff like that really ruins it

Me too. They are totally different words with different meanings. Alot of parts of words are in other words. Not fair.

Meredith I love this show, but this is one rule that still does not seem to be consistent. I've seen the judge accept manicure = pedicure, but in this round, forget was not accepted because he used the word forgive in his clue. I'm a superfan and I've seen other examples where sometimes the judges will and sometimes they won't accept the word in similar instances. All the judges need to be on the same page! The fans are paying attention, I'm sure it's frustrating for the contestants, and even the celebrity players are confused when this happens.

The judges are probably some unpaid interns who are overworked and are still trying to figure out the rules of the game.

@palithaolden8214 I agree it was a weak call, and I wanted him to win, but it doesn't matter if they have completely different meanings. You can't give a clue when the actual word in the answer is a word on it's own. 'For' is a word by itself. Having said that, the judges are EXTREMELY inconsistent with that rule. For example, they never buzz on manicure/pedicure, when 'cure' is a word on it's own.

Once again, inconsistent judging. On other words, they allow a portion of an answer word in a clue, and other times they don't. You REALLY need to review these rules and enforce them the same way every time. If you frustrate enough fans this way, your ratings fall, and you won't be renewed.

Rhymes are allowed as long as it's not a fake word you're coming up with to get your guessers to say the answer. For this, Italian/Stallion totally legal!
