In round one, "gotta" isn't a word so he was actually saying "I got a" and should have been buzzed for going over.

Easy for me to say, while sitting in my easy chair, but challengers need to bid the champs down to 10-12 words. Otherwise, there will be more one-sided games, like this one.

They're too afraid they'll have to play and some people know they're not good at this game. They just saw an ad that said "Win $10,000 easy - just know words" and signed up.

Dan's clues were horrendous. He used a million words per word and the clues still weren't good. Awful.

@@eliasshakkour2904Not true. The problem is the ladies were not good guessers. It was a red word and he said "Expiration date tells you food's..." and they thought it was "bad" or "spoiled"? Did they really think he'd give an elaborate clue if it was "bad" instead of just saying "opposite, good"? They must not know the game. I bet Dan's clues would have gotten the champions to get a lot of the words, if not all of them.

@@johnsmi213 Under pressure, it's natural to blurt out whatever comes to mind. You don't always have the cognitive space to do all that mental analysis in the small amount of time you have. The problem with that clue was that it was not specific enough. If you're going to use five whole words, your clue better be damn specific. "bookcase" + "opposite life" is only three words and may have gotten them there. "food's" and "its" were ambiguous as it wasn't clear whether he meant the possessive of "food is" and "it is" ("food is" is how they interpreted it.). Same problem with "No end to my eating, I'm a...": seven words and it wasn't specific enough. How about "hole with no end": four words and much more specific. To top it all off, he also wasted a word by saying "yep." Bad clue-giving all around.

They went into their ultimate losing round cold. They had no feel for their team. Then add all those 1000 points of multiple words to be guessed, and the word "disaster" takes a hold of their situation.

I'm a..." and they thought the word was "pig" like he'd make that complicated of a clue for "pig." They weren't the best players. And they passed on all rounds to hide it.

@@LynnK-pu7rcThey hear "I eat too much. I'm a..." and thought the word was "overeater" when the clue couldn't have the word "eat" in it. They don't know the game and would have been very rudimentary if we ever saw them play.

"Expiration date tells you food's..." "Expired. Bad. Gross." Yes, the word was "bad" and he decided to get you there by saying "expiration date tells you food's..." "Spoiled. No longer good." "It's..." "Spoiled." Yes, the word was "spoiled" and he added "it's" so you'd say it again.

They made a bad showing, yes, but it was their first round and they were given really terrible clues for the most part.

It's the nature of their religion. It tells them to constantly proselytize, and when normal people get annoyed it's just "the world" rejecting you like it rejected Christ. A real neat trick, that one.
