Got to play as Argon in one of my first matches on the map. Despite our backs against the wall, there was zero hesitation to charge forth in pure defiance to put down the enemy team despite having been nearly steamrolled all game. The moment I jumped the barricade it was the tip of the spear as we crushed through a swarm of Masons. There was no fear, and no surrender, and even as I came close to death there were like a dozen of my teammates jumping in the Mason's path to stop them from killing me. Raising that flag with a wall of lions around me was the greatest moment ever for me in the game.

The first Chivalry was one of my absolute favorite games for years, it has some serious nostalgia going for it, and specifically for the original version of this song. My first game of Chivalry 2 started off pretty rough, but towards the end we had a massive comeback, and then this absolute masterpiece started to play. It quite literally brought tears to my eyes, it is absolutely incredible. I played the Chiv 2 beta and I gotta say that this piece is truly incredible as is the rest of the soundtrack. This one in particular is like some old eldritch magic. I was on in matches where you'd have a team that was faltering, on the verge of losing, then this kicks in, and wow...suddenly the losing team fights back insanely hard and wins! I think the great Carl Orff would be proud of your work.

I got to play as Argon today. The feeling is just amazing. We were desperately holding the line, faltering, and overwhelmed. Then I knew the king was about to step out to fight with us and raise our spirits. Then I got the message to play as him and accepted. I stepped out the doors right as the music reached 0:18, and I charged out to demolish the horde of red and black-armored besiegers. As an aggressive knight that uses the longsword primarily, I felt like I was meant for the role, and swung wildly, cleaving enemies apart left, right, and center. I was getting commendations from slain foes with every swing, and I pushed hard. I was playing with a good friend at the time, and I even yelled "For Agatha" into the mic as I charged into the fray. I sadly fell at the last objective, cut down while I stood alone, surrounded by enemies as all the allies I had were killed around me, leaving me to fend for myself while the next wave was still on the other side of the draw bridge. It was a truly amazing experience, and I was honored, both to have been picked to play that role, and to have played with these fine people on both teams.

But when I got to play that map in 2022, once Argon stepped out I was hyped because I thought “Oh damn, thats him, we might actually win the war if we canonically kill him here” Just the whole atmosphere of that decisive battle was a hype feeling.
