My recommendation for TN newcomers: try out the notebook inserts on their own first, to see how they work out for you, before investing in the cover and accessories. It's a wonderful system, but the upfront costs can really add up. One can give it a test run with like $20-30 and feel much more confident when purchasing their full setup. Take advantage of the modularity!

@@Norvind-YT To be honest, I hadn't thought of it when I dove in and bought the whole set with accessories 5 years ago! However, I did have a year and a half of experimenting in hardcover notebooks to figure out what I did and didn't like, and it really felt like the best fit for my needs.

I have not pulled the trigger on anything from TN notebook or accessories because there is so much out there. If you don’t know what there is, you don’t know what you should get. I’m not one to buy one of everything or three of everything and then figure it out. I want to purchase what I want and need and go from there. I don’t want to feel as I’m missing some thing either. This was, awesome. Having a breakdown is unbelievably helpful. Thank you so much. Cheers

I may already be familiar with most of the tn stuff, but I still love watching you guys explain things, so here I am 🎉🎉 I actually love using my regular size tn to keep like receipts, wrappers, stuff like that. It’s perfect cause one blank refill is enough for one whole year’s worth of stuff, and because of the way it’s bound, it looks great even when chonky. As for the card pocket insert, I love making my own cards decorated with washi+stickers, and I write my favorite lyrics with a brush pen ❤

Sterling Ink having a compact full year vertical weekly in the TN regular size has led me down the TN rabbit hole. I’ve always been a 1-book girlie, so I love the idea that I can keep in “1 book” (cover) a full year planner but append into my system a couple of other refills. I use the undated monthly as a FP ink swatch book and the sticker release refill. So functional!

The big game changer for me is the modularity, especially being able to move all my yearly/long-term spreads into a separate notebook, which ended up lasting me 3 years. I also found it easier to let go of the desire to fit a fixed number of months in a notebook, so I'm no longer leaving a bunch of paper unused like I did with my hardcover journals.

I LOVE the lightweight paper as a journal! I add a lot of stickers and washi, so the thinner paper is a must, and I love that it has more pages than a normal refill. I also add all my ephemera in the plastic zip insert, and bigger pieces in the Kraft folder. I use the undated monthly book for my yearly insert because I love Sunday start. The accordion fold insert is great for moving, and traveling! I’ve used it for both and it was so helpful. The sticker release is a MUST for heavy decorating! I use so many inserts at a time that sometimes they don’t fit in my Travelers Company cover. So I have a Narrow cover from Chic Sparrow that can hold six inserts with no overhangs.

Thank you so much Daisy - great to have an overview of all that’s available. I am a huge fan of the watercolor paper insert - takes wet media very well, great for painting, collage, etc. Also really love the vertical format of the writing-geared inserts for journaling. Well done video!!
