For the feminine touch, like the doilies: before I throw away lace underwear, I pick out some pieces of lace. Just stick them on, they do some nice stenciling or press them into texture paste, whatever..... Nice! 😁😍🙋‍♀️

Its a beautiful thing to create and look at but does it serve any practical function? You wont write on fabric or tissue paper so this kind of notebook is clearly decorative?

You can if that's what your heart desires! You can sew, tie with string, glue, staples, tape... I say do what you feel like doing at the time. Hey, I should put that on a t-shirt. lol
