2:32 Might be wrong, but back when Islands (skyblox at the time) was getting sued, many people thought it was Hypixels doing, but Hypixel the owner of Hypixel came out and said, it was not Hypixels doing and that he actually like that the Skyblock gamemode was being spread across other platforms. So I doubt that it was Hypixel who sued Bedwars, though correct me if I’m wrong. I also believe one time Hypixel said he liked that they added Bedwars too.

The bedwars characters do have names. All of them do. They first had a game called islands, before they made bedwars. First, it was called sky lock, then, it was called sky lox, and now, it is islands. They originally got those characters from the islands game. That’s why they have names.

Hypixel never sued roblox bedwars btw and the textures weren't owned by Hypixel but by minecraft so Hypixel has no rights to sue for that and yes as a mibecraft player not minecraft, although about the concept, Hypixel thought it was cool I don't think they expected roblox bedwars to get that much sucess but they never sued them.
