MY OBSERVATION - The family and the victim filed FIR because the doctors refused treatment because of the nature of the case requiring FIR. Women organizations, students, youth, other apex bodies must seek justice otherwise rapist may not get befitting punishment in the court... must follow-up the progress of the court judgment and let public know what punishment the court awarded to the rapist... thats more important. Do not do just public rally, don't write in papers... just follow-up the judgment and question for right punishment please.

Well, they did not approach the victim's family, it has been mentioned that the victim's family reached out to the hornbill TV. I believe in respecting the victims however if we never voice out and stay hidden it would do no good to the society. This act of revealing the details doesn't degrade her dignity, it only shows that she's strong and ready to be the voice. And yes this channel I believe is doing a great job, not only in providing information to the people but also it is rendering service as a voice of people.
