I led a group of 23 solar eclipse chasers to Xinjiang in 2008. I so much want to get back there. The Uyghur people are wonderful, the Urumqi night market was a hit. The weather in August was just plain hot. I will watch again soon. I reposted on my 2008 group and Beautiful China page.
